Helping Business Weather the Storm

WDT WeatherOps Has San Francisco Covered This Weekend

by Dax Cochran, on Feb 4, 2016 9:41:11 AM

The WeatherOps crew has been hard at work this week supporting customers who found themselves threatened by everything from blizzards to tornadoes. This weekend, many eyes will be focused towards the west coast as the Panthers and Broncos battle it out in Super Bowl 50.

You can relax. The image below outlines the current San Francisco forecast for the big weekend. See all those greens? That’s the same as getting a big thumbs up from your private forecast crew. We are providing guidance for this weekend to multiple clients involved in one way or another with various Super Bowl celebrations. This guidance leads up to Metallica's Super Bowl Eve show at AT&T Park. Following the concert, focus shifts south to Levi’s Stadium for the game on Sunday.

As of now, winds look to be light. Should that change, we will be the first to start tapping on shoulders; supporting tours and festivals from Paul McCartney to Kenny Chesney, and Bonnaroo to Electric Daisy. We will definitely be keeping an eye out later this month, when our friends at Richard Petty Motorsports roll onto the track at Daytona.
As the warm season approaches, with thunderstorms, high winds, and other weather risks, it's important to have a plan in place.

Will your event require a tap on the shoulder from us? Enjoy the game everyone!

See it in Action!
