Moderate to heavy snow is possible on Saturday across the Central Rockies.

A shortwave trough will move over the western half of the country on Saturday bringing snow showers to the Central Rockies. Potential snowfall amounts will range from more widespread amounts of 3-6 inches, to locally higher amounts of 4-8+ inches through Saturday night.
