As the low pressure system impacting Maine lifts to the north-northeast on Thursday, significant weather threats will leave to northeast. High pressure over the Southeast will bring fair weather conditions while southerly flow is forecast across the the Southern and Central Plains west of the high. The main weather feature includes some mountain snow across portions of the Northern Rockies. Lingering showers will be possible across the coast of the Pacific Northwest.
