A shortwave trough embedded in the overall flow across the country will lift northeastward from the Great Lakes into eastern Canada through Thursday. Some isolated thunderstorms will be possible for parts of the Central Appalachians, Central Gulf Coast, and parts of the lower Mississippi Valley, but any storms that develop have a very marginal chance of becoming severe.
