Aiken Electric Co-op Chooses WeatherOps® for Weather Risk Mitigation and Decision Support Services

Norman, OK - April 28, 2016 — Weather risk and analytics leader Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. (WDT) announces that Aiken Electric Co-op has contracted with the company to utilize WeatherOps risk mitigation services.

WeatherOps is comprised of an expert group of meteorologists operating within Weather Decision Technologies as well as a proprietary software and mobile companion application that provide information in an easy to comprehend format for the purpose of decision support. Aiken Electric Co-op field personnel will be alerted to immediate weather threats while administrators will receive the forecast information they require to anticipate power interruptions.
