Helping Business Weather the Storm

Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday, April 10, 2015

by WeatherOps, on Apr 9, 2015 3:24:23 PM

There is a slight risk for thunderstorms Friday for portions of the Mid Atlantic, Southeast, and Gulf Coast.

By Friday, the risk for more widespread and significant severe weather should diminish as a cold front makes its way offshore of the East Coast and pushes any remaining moisture into the far Southern Plains and coastal regions to the south and east. Pockets of instability may develop across the Gulf States into the Mid-Atlantic region where scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected. Strong to marginally severe thunderstorm activity will be possible with a risk for small hail and winds gusting in excess of 45 mph.
