Moderate to heavy snow and mixed winter precipitation will continue through Tuesday morning. Light snow will continue across portions of New Mexico and West Texas.

Mixed winter precipitation will continue from the Central Atlantic through the Northeast in association with an area of low pressure moving off the east coast. During the early through late morning, wintry precipitation is expected from the Southeast to the Mid Atlantic and into New England. 4-10 inches of snow will be possible through the morning with heaviest accumulations along the Central Atlantic coast.

A disturbance moving out of the Four Corners region into the Southern Plains will allow for snow across portions of eastern New Mexico and West Texas. Accumulations will be minimal, but some travel impacts will be possible. Roads should improve by afternoon as temperatures warm.
