Hazardous Weather Outlook for Thursday, December 4, 2014

Isolated moderate to heavy snow is likely Thursday for the higher elevations of the Rockies and Pacific Northwest; some icing will also be possible.

Rockies and Pacific Northwest:Snow chances are yet again anticipated for the Rockies on Thursday. High snowfall amounts are not expected, but another round of 4 -8 inches is possible for the high terrain. Meanwhile, Oregon into Washington could see some hazardous ice accumulation from late Wednesday into early Thursday. An inch of snow and sleet is expected, and around a tenth of an inch of ice is expected.
