Scattered thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible Friday for the Midwest and points eastward to the Atlantic Coast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible for portions of the High Plains.

Thunderstorms will develop from the High Plains to the Atlantic along a frontal boundary. While no widespread severe weather is expected, small hail and gusty winds will be possible.
