Heavy rain and a flooding potential will continue on Friday for portions of Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana.

The severe weather potential will be low across the US as cooler temperatures and ongoing showers across the Plains and Lower Mississippi River Valley will limit instability. The main concern will be heavy rain across the Arklatex region. 3-4 inches of additional rain will be possible across portions of Southeastern Oklahoma into Arkansas.
