Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. honored for Oklahoma job creation over the past three years

NEW YORK, NY and NORMAN, OK - December 12, 2012 - Norman, Oklahoma-based Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. (WDT) is featured in the inaugural ranking of Inc.’s Hire Power Awards, recognizing private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past three years.

WDT generated 35 jobs from 2008 to 2011, placing it among the top 10 private business job creators within the State of Oklahoma.

The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2011. The minimum revenue required for 2008 is $100,000; the minimum for 2011 is $2 million. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.'s September issue.
