Thunderstorms for Southern Texas on Wednesday
Scattered thunderstorms may develop across portions of southern Texas Wednesday ahead of a cold front. Plentiful moisture combined with moderate instability should allow for the development of strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards with these storms.

Potential for Thunderstorms Thursday across the Pacific Northwest
Modest amounts of moisture combined with marginal instability may allow for the development of widely scattered thunderstorms across the region Thursday afternoon. Damaging winds will be the primary hazard with any storms that develop.

Thunderstorms for the Pacific Northwest on Friday
Moisture combined with an upper level trough moving into the region on Friday will allow for the development of thunderstorms. Small hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards with any storms that develop.

A Look Ahead
Showers and possibly some light snow will move through the Northeast on Saturday in association with an area of low pressure. As the low in the Pacific Northwest described above continues to move eastward, snow may develop across portions of the Northern Rockies on Sunday. This activity may persist into early Tuesday morning.
