A ridge of high pressure over the Intermountain West will keep most of the Central and Western US relatively dry on Thursday. Very light snow will be possible across portions of the Northeast.

Snow showers will continue across portions of Western New York through early Friday morning. 6-12 inches of snow will be possible with locally higher amounts, in addition to winds of 15-25 mph.
