Snow Continuing for the Great Lakes and Northeast on Monday
Light snow will continue through Monday as a shortwave trough moves through the Great Lakes and Northeast. Accumulations should generally be less than an inch.

A stalled cold front will allow for dense fog along the southeastern Louisiana coast through early afternoon. Visibilities may be less than two miles at times.

A Look Ahead
Model guidance continues to indicate the potential for a significant winter storm across the Northern Plains beginning on Friday and continuing through Sunday. Moderate to heavy snow will continue to expand in coverage from west to east on Friday., beginning in the Dakotas.  Snow will likely spread into eastern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Great Lakes Saturday into Sunday. There will also be a potential for freezing rain across the Great Lakes Saturday into Sunday.
