Excessive Rainfall for South Texas Saturday and Sunday
A stalled front is set up over Southern Texas and with ample moisture in place, showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday into Sunday. This activity will be slow moving in nature, leading to widespread two day rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches with locally higher amounts in excess of 6 inches. Saturated soil from previous days' rainfall will allow for a risk for flooding and flash flooding.
