Rain will change to snow throughout the day on Friday from portions of Ohio into portions of the Appalachians and Mid Atlantic.

Region 1

A fast moving area of low pressure is moving off the East Coast, allowing for some light wintry precipitation across the Ohio Valley. Snowfall accumulations of 2-4 inches are expected with isolated amounts in excess of 5 inches. Across the Appalachians, a mix of rain and snow will be possible through the day on Friday before transitioning to snow on Friday night. Snow accumulations of 2-4 inches with isolated amounts in excess of 5 inches will be possible.
