Significant winter weather is likely on Saturday for the Mid Atlantic and Southern New England.

A winter storm will continue to impact the East Coast of the U.S. into Saturday. Impacts are expected to spread north into parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island on Saturday. The heaviest snowfall totals are expected in a corridor stretch from roughly Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia to New York City, where widespread snowfall accumulations of around one foot can be expected. Locally higher amounts in excess of two feet will be possible in some locations.
