Helping Business Weather the Storm

National Weather Summary for Wednesday, December 30, 2015

by WeatherOps, on Dec 30, 2015 3:39:38 AM

Excessive rainfall is possible on Wednesday across the Southeast.

A frontal boundary will begin to push eastward as a cold front today. This will allow for scattered to numerous showers and a few thunderstorms to develop from southern Virginia southwestward into southeastern Louisiana throughout the day. Forecast rainfall amounts range from 0.50 to 1.50 inches, with locally higher amounts in excess of 2 inches possible, especially near the Gulf Coast region of the threat area. Due to recent heavy rains across the Southeast, there will be an increased risk of flooding across this region.
