As an area of low pressure begins to become better organized over the Southern Rockies, much of the country will remain quiet with no significant weather impacts on Friday. The main features will include continued rainfall over the Pacific Northwest as an area of low pressure continues to bring moderate rains over the area. Lingering snow over the Sierra Nevada is expected with an additional inch or two possible. Into the Great Lakes, a slight chance of rain is forecast with a weak low moving northward into Canada.
