An area of low pressure will lift northward off the coast of the Pacific Northwest. Additional rainfall is forecast over the region with snow in the higher elevations. However, precipitation is forecast throughout the day with total rainfall accumulations of an inch possible with locally heavier amounts and additional snowfall of 1-3 inches in the higher elevations. Elsewhere, no significant features are forecast into Friday, with some scattered showers across the Great Lakes and Southeast.
