Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday, December 4, 2015

Moderate to heavy snow is possible on Friday across the Northern Rockies. Excessive rainfall is possible across the Southeast.

Mountain snow will continue across the Northern Rockies as an area of low pressure progresses eastward into the Northern Plains. Snowfall accumulations of 3-6 inches will be possible with locally heavier amounts in excess of 9 inches possible through Saturday morning,

Across the Southeast, a slow moving cold front will move out of Florida early Friday. The front will stall just off the coast with periods of showers and thunderstorms expected throughout the day. 1-2 inches of rain will be possible with locally higher amounts in excess of 3 inches possible.
