Moderate to heavy rainfall is possible on Saturday for the Central Appalachians.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue along and ahead of a cold front progressing into the Eastern Seaboard with activity extending from the Northeast into Florida. While severe impacts are not anticipated, heavy rainfall will promote a risk for flooding and runoff.
