Heavy rain in excess of 2 inches will be possible on Monday across Western Florida due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Erika.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Erika will continue moving northward passing just offshore of the West Coast of Florida with landfall near Apalachicola, Florida. This will allow for periods of showers, thunderstorms, and rain squalls across Western Florida throughout the day. Accumulations of 1-2 inches of rain will be possible. Periods of heavy rain could allow for flash flooding.
