Excessive rainfall is possible on Thursday across portions of South Texas, Northeast, and from New England to the Mid Atlantic.

A strong cold front will move across Texas on Thursday. Ahead of the front, deep moisture is in place allowing for the potential for heavy rain and isolated flash flooding. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches will be possible with some areas seeing in excess of 3 inches.

Another front moving through the Northeast will allow for 1-2 inches of rain across the region. Flash flooding will be possible at times with some isolated areas picking up as much as 3 inches of rain.
