Heavy rainfall is anticipated over the southern plains going on Tuesday as the cold front continues to move southward across the Plains. Rainfall totals will be rather high with Central Oklahoma to parts of North Central Texas possibly seeing rainfall totals near 6 inches throughout the day. Other heavy rainfall areas include parts of Central Texas, Southwestern Missouri, and Northwestern Arkansas where 2 to 4 inches of rain could fall. Widespread flooding will be likely throughout the day.
