Northeast Oklahoma & Southwest Missouri: As the remnants of Tropical Depression Bill begins to track to the northeast on Thursday, heavy rainfall is forecast across much of Oklahoma, portions of Arkansas and Southern Missouri. Total additional rainfall accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible across the area with locally higher amounts possible. Flash flooding and flooding will continue to be the primary concern across the area.

Northern High Plains: A low pressure disturbance ejecting out of the Northern Rockies will track into the Northern High Plains on Thursday afternoon. With moisture continuing to advance into the region and afternoon vertical wind profiles becoming more favorable, storm activity will have the potential to produce elevated winds, hail and perhaps an isolated tornado or two. By evening, activity is anticipated to become more widespread, with cells becoming linear in nature, with mainly an isolated wind and hail threat.

Ohio Valley & Lower Great Lakes: A trailing frontal boundary will track through the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic on Thursday bringing a chance for shower and thunderstorm development during the afternoon and evening hours. While most activity should remain generally linear in nature, some storms could become stronger with elevated wind gusts and hail the primary threats. An isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out, though chances should remain minimal. Subsequent upgrades to a watch later today may be warranted as conditions change.
