Hazardous Weather Outlook for Thursday, April 3, 2014

Severe thunderstorms are likely tomorrow for portions of the Central Plains, Missouri Valley, and Southern US. Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are possible from portions of Texas and northeastward into Ohio. Light to moderate snowfall will also be possible for portions of the North Central Plains.

Storms will develop om Thursday in Eastern Kansas/Oklahoma and Western Missouri along the cold front or further east into the Middle Missouri Valley. Any discrete storms that are able to form will have a very high potential for hail and tornadoes. The main threat will be from St. Louis, south to Memphis, and north of Shreveport.

2-6 inches of snow will also be possible from portions of the Great Lakes to the Rockies.
