There is a slight risk for severe weather this afternoon and evening across the Plains ahead of a dryline in West Texas. Convergence ahead of the dryline will allow for the potential for thunderstorm development across portions of Northwest Texas and Southwest Oklahoma. Large hail will be the main concern. In addition, thunderstorms will be possible for portions of Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri letter tonight as the low level jet intensifies this afternoon and tonight. Large hail will be the main concern, however, some damaging winds will also be possible.
