Helping Business Weather the Storm

Daily Hail Report - Texas sized hail does it again

by Marcus Hicks, on Mar 25, 2016 9:48:04 AM

Yesterdays storms brought hail once again to TX, producing hail calculated at 2.25”. Hail was detected W & SW of San Antonio. Hail at .75” was detected in and north of Mobile, AL.

We don’t see another chance of notable severe weather with a hail threat until Sunday where there will be a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms within mid-south. A strong low pressure system will move across the eastern United States. Storms are expected to fire ahead of a cold front during the day, with conditions likely being favorable for some storms to become severe. All severe threat types will be possible with these storms with the threat diminishing into the evening as the cold front pushes off to the east.
