Wednesday a potential for severe thunderstorms across AR, LA, TX and the Lower Mississippi Valley regions exists.  A dryline is forecast to extend from north to south across the Southern Plains of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.  East of this dryline, moderate instability may develop.  Current model guidance suggest that thunderstorms may develop east of the higher instability from along the Ohio River southwestward down into Louisiana.  Regardless, a threat for damaging wind gusts and hail will exist by late Wednesday afternoon.  Storms will likely persist into the after dark hours.
