Ample moisture will continue to move into the Mid Atlantic. Showers and thunderstorms will continue through Friday with the highest rainfall totals being in North Carolina and Virginia. 1-2 inches of rain can be expected with rainfall totals in excess of 3 inches possible along the coast and higher terrain.
