Excessive rainfall is possible on Thursday for along the coasts of the Mid Atlantic and Southeast.
The southeastern coastal areas will see some showers and heavy rain. Any developing showers or thunderstorms are expected to stay below severe thresholds, however, some heavy rainfall is possible with totals nearing 2 inches in some areas.
