Excessive rainfall is possible on Tuesday across the Desert Southwest.
Tropical Depression 16-E will continue to track northward on Tuesday, with likely dissipation over Northern Arizona and New Mexico. Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms should impact northern portions of Arizona and New Mexico through the entire day on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches with locally higher amounts in excess of 3 inches will be possible.
