Excessive rainfall is possible on Wednesday across portions of Florida and the Pacific Northwest.

Heavy precipitation is possible on Wednesday across the Pacific Northwest as a surface low moves into Washington. Ample moisture will be in place for periods of heavy rain, especially along the Washington coast. Widespread amounts of 0.5-1 inch of rain can be expected along the coast of Washington, Oregon, and Northern California with locally heavy amounts in excess of 2 inches in Western Washington.

A surface wave located in the southeastern Gulf of Mexico is the remnants of Tropical Storm Grace. No tropical development is expected, however, ample moisture will surge into the eastern Gulf and Florida, bringing widespread shower and thunderstorm activity to the region. 1-2 inches of rain can be expected with locally higher amounts in excess of 3 inches.
