Current NWS Advisories/Watches/Warnings in iMapPro

A strong upper level trough will move onto the West Coast late Monday. This will result in strong upward forcing across much of the Western US. At the surface, strong southwesterly flow will transport moisture into the Southwest. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across much of the region. Locally heavy rainfall in excess of 1-2 inches will be possible with some of the heavier thunderstorms, which could lead to flash flooding in low lying areas.
