The remains of Erika will move across the Southern US on Tuesday, allowing for moderate to heavy rain throughout the day. Rainfall accumulations of 1-1.5 inches are expected with the potential for flash flooding in areas of prolonged rainfall. Elsewhere, a trough of low pressure will move eastward from the Rockies and Northern Plains will allow for isolated strong thunderstorms but no widespread severe weather or heavy rain is expected.
