A few thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon and evening for the Northern Rockies. Across Central Florida, scattered thunderstorms with an isolated flash flood threat will be possible.

With a midlevel jet streak passing across the Northern Rockies during the afternoon and evening, isolated thunderstorms with the potential for damaging winds will be the primary hazards.

A stationary front across Florida will allow for widely scattered thunderstorm development on Friday. Damaging winds will be the primary hazard, but frequent lightning and heavy rain will also be possible.
