Scattered thunderstorms, some severe, will be possible on Thursday across the Central Plains and Midwest, as well as Florida.

Central Plains and Midwest: Scattered thunderstorm activity is expected across the Central Plains and into the Midwest on Thursday. Some of these storms will likely be severe but due to forecast uncertainty and the potentially isolated nature of the severe weather threat a particularly hazardous thunderstorm threat area is not being issued at this time.

Florida: Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms can be expected ahead of a slow moving cold front sagging south into the region. Isolated severe wind gusts, hail, and frequent lightning will be the primary severe weather hazards.
