Hazardous Weather Outlook for Saturday, June 13, 2015

Written by WeatherOps | Jun 12, 2015 3:04:02 PM

A series of weak low pressure troughs and fronts are forecast to slowly move across the on Saturday allowing for periods of showers and general thunderstorms from the Northern Plains, Southern US, and into the Northeast. A lack of upper level support and strong instability with all of these systems will likely allow for scattered showers and general thunderstorms with no widespread heavy rain or severe weather expected. However, a few strong thunderstorms could allow for wind gusts in excess of 45 mph and small hail. No heavy rain is currently expected with any of these systems on Saturday.
