A low amplitude trough will begin moving into the Northern Rockies and the Northern and Central High Plains. At the surface, building instability is expected along and ahead of a dryline. Afternoon thunderstorms, some severe, are expected with a risk for large hail, damaging winds, and a low to moderate tornado risk.

Across the Southeast, a lingering upper low will promote another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Isolated severe impacts will be possible with the stronger storms. Primary hazards will be small hail and damaging winds.
