Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday for the Central and Southern Plains.

Increasing instability aided by an expected dryline will bring a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms across the region on Wednesday, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. The strongest activity will be capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. The tornado threat will be low, but if an organized supercell develops, and isolated tornado may be possible.
