Strong thunderstorms, some severe, are possible late Thursday afternoon and evening across West Texas.
A weak midlevel trough of low pressure will move across western Texas. With this trough, coupled with daytime heating and instability is expected to build ahead of the dryline across western Texas. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible with large hail, damaging winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rain.
