Thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon from portions of northern Texas to the northern Gulf Coast ahead of an upper level low. Where clouds have cleared, destabilization will be sufficient for the development of thunderstorms. As thunderstorms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the main concerns, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
