A few severe thunderstorms will be possible today into tonight across the Southern Plains as an area of low pressure advances out of the lee of the Rockies. As thunderstorms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the primary concerns. By tonight, the low level jet may strengthen, allowing for thunderstorms into the overnight hours across portions of Oklahoma.
