Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible from the Mid Atlantic to the Lower Mississippi Valley and into Texas.

Severe activity will come to an end on Friday as a cold front pushes any remaining moisture into the Southern Plains and coastal areas for the south and east. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some severe, will move across the region with strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible during the afternoon and evening. Primary impacts will be large hail and winds in excess of 45 miles per hour. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
