Moderate to heavy snow is likely today across the Northern Rockies, California Cascades, and Upper New England. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for West Central Texas and the Del Rio region.

An area of low pressure off the Pacific Northwest coast will bring several disturbances across the Cascades and Rockies with snow developing across the region. 2-5 inches of snow will be possible in most areas. Across Northern California, a foot or more will be possible.

Across Upper New England, a shortwave trough will bring light to moderate snow during the afternoon and evening. 3-4 inches of snow will be possible.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible across West Central Texas and the Del Rio region. Large hail and winds in excess of 45 miles per hour will be possible.
