Severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday across the Mid Mississippi and Ohio Valleys. Heavy rain and flooding are possible for the Mid-Mississippi Valley.

Oklahoma into the Ohio Valley: Low pressure is forecast to deepen across the Central CONUS on Thursday with broad warm sector in place supportive of severe thunderstorms from Oklahoma into the Ohio Valley By late morning or early afternoon, expect an increasing risk for damaging winds and large hail with the stronger storms.

Middle Mississippi Valley: Ongoing shower and thunderstorm activity on Thursday will promote an elevated risk for flooding along parts of the Middle Mississippi River Valley. Areas could receive in excess of 2 inches of total rainfall through Thursday night.
