Thunderstorms will be possible across the Southeast and Southern Plains this afternoon and tonight ahead of an area of low pressure. Daytime heating will contribute to moderate instability across these areas. As thunderstorms develop, large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats. Thunderstorms will continue over night across Oklahoma and Texas as the low level jet increases.
