Heavy rain will continue along the Northern Gulf Coast ahead of an area of low pressure in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Up to 2.5 inches of rain will be possible in some areas. In addition, some strong thunderstorms may produce some wind gusts to higher than 30 miles per hour.
