A broad trough of low pressure remains in place across the Southern Plains. Ongoing showers and thunderstorms will continue and increase in intensity across much of Texas. 1-2 inches of rain will be possible across Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas, and Northwest Louisiana through Monday night. Rainfall in excess of 3 inches will be possible across Central and Southeast Texas. An elevated risk for flooding and local runoff can be expected.
